    Prayer Requests

  • I wanted to share with you that my mother, Doris Parker, is now home. Her doctors ran the needed tests, increased her medications and monitored her. Sor far, it appears it was only a build-up of fluid in her chest that caused the chest pains. Once that was dealt with, she was fine. Thanks to everyone for prayers to GOD to see her through this.
  • Jermaine, Amy and Xavier Wiley
  • Larry Williams' body is still rejecting his transplanted liver, and he needs to be taken to the hospital and back three times a week, and sometimes on the spur of the moment. We need a list of people who can help with rides in the morning or evening. Please email Kat Watson, at kfwatson@hotmail.com, if you can help with a ride. Also, PLEASE PRAY for Larry and Ann!

From Lisa Washington:I was at my post transplant appointment last week, and Emory is running tests to see why I'm very anemic right now and if the bacteria infection I had leaving the hospital has come back. Please pray that they can find out why my red blood cell count is low and that I do not have this infection. Also pray that there is a very easy solution to both situations and that God will heal my body. Being sick with a new kidney can be dangerous. Thanks.

Please be praying for Karl Lynn's father, Jim Lynn, who has been very ill for quite some time now.

Please be praying for Beatrice Modest's mother, who has stage 4 melanoma cancer. Pray that she doesn't suffer during this time.

Please pray for Liz Martin's son, Eric Martin, as he changes high schools this year. Eric is diagnosed as severly autistic and is moving from Hooper Renwick to South Gwinnett High. Hooper Renwick is a self-contained school, for severly autistic and mentally disabled kids, and those troubled teens that have a very hard time anywhere else. Eric did so well there(the best he's done in any public school) that he outgrew all his role models...so they move him to South Gwinnett High School, which is supposed to be a better place for him. Please keep him in your prayers.

Natasha Peralta's twin nieces were born two days ago (FR) prematurely. Kelsea - 2 lbs, 10 oz (very sick); Katelyn - 4 lbs. Please pray for the infants and their family.

Please pray for Michelle Matovu’s uncle, Joe Button, who had a massive heart attack Tuesday night. He was taken to Gwinnett medical and then air-lifted to Saint Joseph’s for surgery. The doctors think there might have been some muscle damage to his heart.

Pray for the Emmett's court date on September 5, in the adoption of their son Monu; pray that God will change the judge's heart and mind. Also pray she begins granting approval on all her adoption cases that she has postponed or held up.

Please pray for Phillip Spradlin, Jim Ousley's uncle, who is suffering from terminal cancer.

Please pray for Adam Hertling's mother, Mary Hertling, as the cancer has now increased in her brain. She's been in and out of the hospital undergoing several chemotherapy treatments these past few weeks. She's now on her third stay at the hospital undergoing more treatments. This is an extremely difficult time for Adam and his family, and yet he remains faithful and appreciates all the prayers.

Please pray for Linda Russell's mother who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
